The others look your way. Some laugh, some hide behind their fans and whisper, “He cannot help it.”
Inkblot eyes twinkle, vermilion stained mouth smiles wide-wider still!
At the foot of the lion you kneel, your head bows, smile never falters. A few feet away the queen nods and the prince merrily claps. Stars shine down upon you, you are the centre of attention.
“He cannot help it,” they whisper. You smile with vermilion lips and inkblot eyes.
